Training
Information

Training is mandatory for all applicants (even if you have previous experience or have been licensed in the past). It’s important to us that all of our clergy understand the incredible responsibility we have in the lives of the couples and families we serve.

All training will be led by the Togetherness Collective Governing Official, Jeff Maeck.

Our 4-hour training includes:
-Introduction to the leadership of Togetherness Collective, and its local and global mission
-Review of our Beliefs and Values statements
-Understanding licensing and commissioning in the province of Ontario
-Hands-on training on how to perform a wedding ceremony extremely well
-How to fill in a Marriage Licence and Marriage Register
-Introduction to marketing, administration, consultations, and how to stand out in a crowded marketplace
-Resources and ongoing training
-How to be an impactful and influential spiritual force in the lives of couples, their families, and your community

Upon successful completion of our training course, you will have constant access to ongoing support from the Governing Official, other members, and a library of articles, including podcasts and vodcasts to help you perfect your craft.

Fees: There are two fees that are required to be appointed as clergy through Togetherness Collective: a one-time Training Course Fee, and an Annual Certification and Membership Fee.

Training Course Fee: $500 (one-time) due upon registration
Annual Certification and Membership Fee:
$1,000 (yearly) due immediately after training is completed

Please note: Both fees can be paid by Visa, MC, or e-transfer sent to hello@togethernesscollective.org

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 2 weeks (14 days) prior to your training date will receive a 50% refund ($250). Cancellations made under 14 days from the training date are non-refundable, but the course fee can be applied toward another course offered within 1 year (365 days) of the original course date.
