Beliefs
-
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth out of nothing and that He lovingly and carefully created each of us to be in relationship with Him. When sin entered the world it put a chasm between us and God, making it more difficult to hear Him or follow Him through all the noise, temptations and distractions in our lives. Without a relationship and direction from the creator of life, people began living their lives in direct opposition to how God created us to live. He sent His son Jesus, the second person of the Trinity, to conquer sin, and offer Himself as a ransom for us, dying on a cross in our place for the lives we had been living. With His life, death, and resurrection and His conquering of sin, He created a bridge over that chasm that once existed and gave us a direct path to a relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. We believe the best decision you can make is to choose to follow Jesus and live a life in relationship with Him.
